SoluBest is a drug delivery company which leverages its extensive
expertise in polymer chemistry to develop new proprietary nano-formulations
taking advantage of polymer–drug interactions which do not make or break
chemical bonds to create unique inclusion complexes. These provide for improved pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profiles for marketed and/or off-patent drugs as well as
drugs in preclinical or clinical stages. SoluBest is improving both drug
therapeutics and compliancy by applying its proprietary nano-transport
technology.
Main Markets / Applications
Nano-branded generics represent a formidable solution for pharmaceutical
companies to extend and add value to their brands, and continue
recouping a sizeable profit which would have been lost to generics,
especially for blockbusters, such as the Fenofibrate, Taxotere and
others. Applications include product formulations for insolubles and
solubles, formulations of administration modes i.e. oral, intravenous,
pulmonary, nasal, and formulations of biopharmaceuticals. There are also
potentially strong markets in cosmetics.
Uniqueness / Advantage over Existing Products
The technology can create novel proprietary formulations with FDA
approved components shortening the
regulatory track for existing products, and is a scaleable and integrateable process. The versatile technology facilitates the ability
to work in generics, value added generics, and with newly developed
drugs.
